Covenant House Florida in Orlando receives $10,000 Spectrum Grant
On July 18, City Commissioner District 5 Shan Rose joined Kate Wallace, Lorelie Johnson, and Alex Redkin from Charter Communications to present the grant check to Caren Olson, CHF Director of Program Services in Orlando, and Reneé Trincanello, CHF CEO. The funds will be used to support homeless youth in Central Florida with the purchase of new appliances to continue offering services to those without a place to sleep, to shower or do their laundry.
This donation is part of Spectrum’s Employee Community Grants Program, which supports more than 400 local nonprofits in 32 states over the last four years. Spectrum News 13 is part of Spectrum Networks and its parent company Charter Communications.
