Covenant House Florida Supports Young Adults

Experiencing Homelessness Ages 18–24

Each year, we reach hundreds of youth via street outreach, crisis shelters, transitional housing projects and aftercare, making Covenant House Florida one of the largest private agencies serving runaway and unhoused youth in the state of Florida.

About Covenant House Florida

Covenant House Florida serves youth experiencing homelessness and housing instability through two locations: Fort Lauderdale and Orlando.

Our Fort Lauderdale location provides young adults, ages 18 to 22, a secure and supportive environment where they can receive basic necessities, urgent medical care, counseling and comprehensive wrap-around services, including career and education navigation.

While our Orlando location does not offer emergency shelter, it plays a vital role by providing transitional housing for young adults ages 18 to 24. This housing is available through scattered-site apartments located in Orange and Osceola Counties and is designed for those who are unstably housed. Orlando youth also benefit from supportive services such as case management, counseling and guidance in navigating education and employment opportunities.

Across both cities, our mission remains the same: to offer a safe haven, compassionate support and the tools young people need to build independent and fulfilling futures.

If you are between the ages of 18 and 24 and need a safe place to stay or support on your journey, please contact us.
